Estima gearbox (2003 model)

The gearbox on my Estima (2003, automatic) is trashed, and I haven't been able to source a replacement online.  eBay has the next model (2006-) available, but not the same model as mine.  I've also tried breakerlink.com and Japanese import sites.

Anyone got any other ideas for a source?

Although the engine remained nominally the same, it is highly likely that the mounting points etc. may well have been redesigned.

Personally, I would continue sourcing a mk2 specific unit or seek a repair.

I agree..^^^...I'd stay with MkII for your search...define "trashed".?..is it totally unrepairable.?

These boxes are generally pretty robust.
