I have it on the Merc (W210) from 2003 and on the Lexus GS from 2010. I understand that Lexus/Toyota withdrew the facility shortly after 2011

I tried to lock the doors manually using the lock button. Didnt do a thing.    I now lock the doors using the key when I am in the car
