Just fitting revcounter to my 07aygo.plug for wires has been cut off and taped up .so Iam stuck which wire goes to which wire any one help . thanks

The wire plug that's part of car wires.red.brown.black green.blue.

The colours are as per the diagram above

  does the rev counter have 4 wires (red, blue, white and yellow)

heres what i posted last year for another member...........................

So working this out from pictures, pinouts and C2 housing diagram - Aygo tacho.pdf

Looking at this and other pic's we can see yellow and white are next to each other and a blue

Looking at this one we can see that the brown is on the top row

Looking at another pic we can see 3 wires on the top row in positions 1, 2 and 4 the connector uses 5 pins of the 8, 3 on the top row ergo. 2 on the bottom row

Car Side - Use               -    Pin

Red           IG 12V               Pin 1   Yellow

Black         RPM signal       Pin 2    White

Brown       Ground              Pin 4    Blue

Blue          Illumination        Pin 5

Green       Perm live            Pin 6
