Baby seat and seat belt

Hello

Quick question.... (2008 Auris) 

When fitting a rear facing baby seat, am I supposed to fully extend the seat belt to kick in it's locking mechanism or should I be avoiding fully extending the belt?

No, it is secured by seat belt.
