HI, First of i learned from this forum when the car had a lack of power to clean the EGR  and it worked so thank you very much.

I decided to periodicaly just clean the EGR as as routine thing every few months and well today this puzled me, as the engine was pulling fine to start with before i cleaned it but after i had done so , it went into a slow going no pull or so and so , so i thought had i done something wrong,  after pulling over i noticed the little pipe connecting to the bottom side of this thing had come disconnected, after reconnecting and going for a run, the power had restored as before. I was thinking that little thing caused the problem ? scratching my head, what even is it? just a little hose connecting it to a cable of some sort. can anyone shed any light on it for me?

I can't open the picture so just guess from the small picture - It could be vacuum hose, that opens and close EGR valve.
