Aygo 2018 reverse sensor install

I've been asked to install a set of reverse sensors on a 2018 Aygo. Installed lots on other cars inc. previous gen Aygo.  When do you feed the wires through from the boot on the Mk II  Aygo?  Anyone done oNe?

Same as Aygo Gen 1:  Where the cable for the number plate lights go through.

I just poke a hole at the bottom of the rubber seal then feed the sensor cable through it.

 

On the Gen 1, installing the sensor was easy as I never had to remove the actual bumper.  Mostly is due to the fact gen 1 does not have rear arch cover.  Gen 2 however will not be the case.  You might find this video helpful:
