Howdy!

Ok, just got my lovely new Corolla and have to say it's head and shoulders above the Auris I had a couple of years ago! So smooth and effortless!

However...one thing that is confusing me.... is the follow me home headlights! I've read the manual and done as it says. You pull the stork towards you to activate it. And it works, but only that one time. Do I have to do that each and everytime I exit the car? How do i get it permanently on?

Thanks in advance! Oh and it's the Icon Tech model.

You have to do it each time it is not automated.

That caught me out last night too.  So used to having that function on the previous cars and in 18 months of Corolla ownership driven home after dark rarely.

Yeah same with the RAV, must be a Toyota thing maybe to save charge.  I wish it did it auto though, and put the DRLs on when you unlock.

Do Toyota have a "Wish my car had this" wish list URL? If so I wish I could find it!! :gathering:

Phil, not a URL but you can email them.  I did regarding the cruise control button. I inadvertently hit the 'select' segment when I intend 'resume'.  Select works as a cancel button so the car suddenly slows down rather than accelerate.

They agreed with my suggestion which was being passed to the designers.

They also said they were very keen to receive user suggestions.
