How to get/download latest maps for your RAV4

Fellow riders,

I have a 2017 RAV4 model. Its a diesel version.

I am thinking of updating the maps on the navigation system.

Is there a way to do it other than taking it to the dealer and paying them an arm and leg for it.

You can do it yourself, it is reasonably simple.

It involves transferring a file to an USB stick & then letting the head unit upload from the USB stick (with an activation code).
