The Touch 2 of your car's vintage isn't compatible with Android Auto.

The Touch 2 multimedia units (MM17) in early versions of the current Rav4 (March 2019 onwards) can be updated to Android Auto/Apple Carplay, but Touch 2/Touch 2 & Go units in previous generations of Rav4 (ie prior to March 2019) aren't compatible to be updated with Android Auto/Apple Carplay.

They are different head units.
