Anyone know what the ground clearance is on a bumper from the floor on an average car ?, just curious lol

I slightly scraped underneath my bumper, Still don't understand how I did it, reversed into a tiny road , heard a scrape , jumped out, the road looked normal, although I think there was a small dip in the road shaped like a V, it's a mystery lol, an annoying mystery 😀😀

On the Auris ground clearance varies between 140 and 150mm (5.5 to 5.9 inches). However, the amount of overhang at the front will also be a factor if driving/reversing up or down a slope or dip.

When you reverse, the front of the car dips, add to that uneven road, or if you turn on a slight incline, etc.

I think the bottom part of the bumper has a hard plastic lip, to protect the bumper itself from scratches.
