Exiting phone back to home screen

Hi all,

Just picked up my 2020 toyota corolla hybrid. Its awesome. A few questions which I'm sure are easy and I'm missing something...when I make a phone call (using steering wheel phone button) I can't get back to the home screen or sat nav without having to press the touch screen? Is there a way to control the screen from the steering wheel? I can't even figure out how to scroll down the contacts unless I use the display screen which is a little dangerous. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks- Stu

Does it not have voice control for finding someone’s number.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. Yes I do have voice recognition (which is great if you can remember what you've saved the person under) but I still have to reach over to the touch screen to get back to the sat nav. I've tried everything and don't think there is a way to do this from the "hands free" steering wheel controls.

Unfortunately I've not found a way to do negative things with voice control, you can turn things on, but not "Pause...", "Stop...", "Return to...".

I agree it's dangerous to have to use the touch screen to turn off the Nav for example.

I wrote to Toyota about it (& a few other things, such as reducing music volume automatically when the warning sensors kick in) but nothing yet, though I do check after every update.
