Halfords discount

Can you order and pay online to collect in store and then get discount amount refunded with the card when go to shop?

Below seems to say you can but when I asked in store they had no idea!

Anyone done it?   Im thinking of signing up and like the idea of the discount card.  

Also wondered how long it takes on average to arrive.

Halfords terms & conditions exclude the cards being used online.

Store staff often aren't aware of their company's terms & conditions, etc.

I once got £40 worth of reduced price Wonder Wheels products for no payment as the member of staff applied the discount incorrectly, and, despite me querying the 100% discount, insisted they were right.

Usually takes around a week for cards to arrive.

Very disappointed to see that Halfords have increased the excluded items on the new discount cards 

• Certain exclusions apply to Motoring including Dash Cams, Sat Navs and Audio
• Certain exclusions apply to Cycling including Tech, Electric Cycles and Scooters

Is this a recent change as I cant remember reading it when I received the new card
