Yaris 2018 Bi-tone: No rear wheel arch liners?

I have a second hand 2018 bi-tone VVT-I Yaris and love it to bits, however I am quite frustrated with the rear wheel arches as there is a ridge on the inside that collects a lot of stones, sand and mud. Sometimes when I drive the debris comes loose and I hear it rattling around and flying out from the arches. I am very concerned that in the long term it will corrode and cause damaged as a result. Apparently this is how they come out of manufacturing? Does anyone else have a similar problem and is there a way of fitting a cover to prevent debris collecting in the wheel arches?

Yes, the same with my car. All sorts of stones and debris accumulate on the flat section in front of the rear wheels. There is a drain hole but that becomes obstructed. I just make it a routine to clean the area out by hand and occasionally with a water jet. When using the water I also clean the mud from the wheel arch and it's edge.
