Hi all

I have a 2009 Toyota avensis and when I go to turn the heating dial up, it will only go up a maximum of couple of degrees and then as I’m turning goes back to cool. I’m worried with the autumn setting in not being able to demist or defrost my window and have a warm car

any ideas? Thanks

Hi Nadia, welcome to TOC.

Which trim or aircon system do you have - the basic or the climate control?

It could be just the knob - see if anything in this thread helps.

I have the same issue, this will temporarily fix it for  week or two. Then I just repeat. Would be interested in a permanent fix.
