Toyota Estima Hybrid - Import - Radio is in Japanese

Hi All,

We imported a 2012 hybrid and the Radio/Nav system is in Japanese language.

We cant seem to get past the initial setup to change the language to english?

Any help appricated.

There are many threads on the subject

In a nutshell, you can't as it's JDM only radio so only in Japanese

Can't be done...you'll need to buy a new head unit.

There must be a language pack upgrade and UK / EU map for satnav?

Anyone recommend a good replacement radio/Satnav combo?

No there isn't. The multimedia systems on Japanese Domestic Market vehicles are different to those on European market vehicles, and in Japan there is no customer need for different language packs.
