Dear Members

If someone can guide me please. If I buy an approved car from a far off Toyota dealer, can I take that car to my nearest Toyota dealer if it requires any work covered by the approved scheme warranty.

Thanks

Yes, if the car is under the Toyota Approved Used scheme, rather than a dealer warranty, and the issue is covered under the Toyota warranty.

Thank you FROSTYBALLS. With your choice of words it makes it abundantly clear.

With the complexity of modern day cars I wouldn't dream of buying any car other than an approved one.

I was just concerned that I might find a car that suits me and its at a dealer quite far away and if needs some attention I  would gave to travel hundreds of miles to get it fixed.

Thanks again.

Don't forget that is you buy any Toyota with a full main dealer service history, you'd be covered by the 5 year Toyota warranty.

Thanks. That's what I intend to do. Used car prices are so high though at the moment.

Depending what your budget is, it may pay to look out for pre-registered vehicles.
