Question about gearbox ratio and possible exhaust leak?

I own a glanza S limited (EP91) so the non turbo model when shifting no crunches or anything like that however around 3000rpm or so the car starts to get loud it goes from basically inaudible to loud and sounds like it's revving well beyond 3000rpm possibly due to the car having quite close ratio gears?, the car continues to accelerate and pull but I just found this odd because 3000rpm isn't anywhere near revving out the engine. Maybe it's something to do with exhaust system and emissions? or an exhaust leak?

Curious to know if this is normal or not.

any answers are welcomed including 'that's normal lol'
