Hi All

I am currently doing some research into another campervan and I've been considering a Toyota Regius or Granvia (Grey import).

The area I am a bit unclear on is, how easy is it to get parts for them and general servicing, ie can usual garages service them?

They look decent well built vehicles.

You really should have few concerns.... there is a lot of Hi-ace commonality.

Nothing unusual about them..apart from being a very solid, reliable and well built vehicle.

I've had my V6 Toyota Estima (grey import) for 6 years now and have never struggled for any part and my usual independent garage services it with no problems at all.

The concerns that peeps had about grey imports some years ago are largely irrelevant now....Estimas, Alphards, Voxy's and Regius models etc are becoming very popular in the UK as they represent such great value for money..and with the bonus of Toyota reliability.

Hello not sure if this will help you, i have just got a Toyota Granvia campervan from Wellhouse it is a 3,4 auto 4 wheel drive, as far as parts go they can usually get any parts required from the campervan side. and most parts from the car side i understand are generic, and can be obtained by most garages. hope this helps cheers Alan.

Hi,

I have a 4 x 4 Auto 3l Regius Hiace campervan and it runs fantastically, no prob having it serviced by local garage and only had to replace a couple of gas struts for the pop top roof (£20) which was easy to do myself. Had it for 18 months and been out in it every weekend and only major was in the first week i had it and had to get a replacement alternator which was easily sourced and replaced by general garage.

Solid vehicle!
