How do I remove the steering wheel off a 1994 Toyota corolla

Before airbags became standard, it was usually just a case of removing the centre nut and giving it a really hard yank to disengage it from the splines. In order to prevent a broken nose, it was always a good idea to loosen the nut but not remove it completely until after you broke the wheel loose. Does a '94 Corolla have a drivers airbag?

This video shows in detail how to remove the steering wheel where an airbag is also fitted (which obviously includes extra steps to remove/make safe the airbag).  As per Red-Corolla's comments, the video shows the guy leaving the nut in place to stop the wheel whacking you in the face when you release it from the splines.
