Touch Switch Test.

So my Head unit touch screen is playing up on my 2015 Rav 4

Used the hidden menu (Car switch held down while turning the lights on and off three times for those who dont know)

Using the touch switch test and a stylus i proved that the point im on the screen is not the point it displays ive touched. so its out of calibration or indeed has failed. 

Apart from the test does anyone know a way to recalibrate the position? is there another secret screen?

Or is it a case of just replacing the digitizer?

Just a thought, if you have had the car serviced at a Toyota dealer it should still be under warranty as it’s now 10 years.

Only if it was last serviced since 1st June 2021, as the Relax warranty was only introduced from 1st June 2021.

I asked about this and got a No as the mileage was 102K. lucked out.
