Manual key activating alarm

I couldn’t get into the IQ with key fob - changed the Battery and still no luck . Have tried the manual key and it sets the alarm off. What can I do?

Hi, I've never done it but believe you unlock door with manual key and hold the remote fob next to the start button for a few seconds.

Did you make sure to remove any childproof film/stickers from the new cell ??, tried a spare key ?

I'm with Steve on this one. Have you tried what he suggested?

Can’t remember now but as Dash said you hold the fob up to the start button but i think you then have to push the button to start the car with your foot on the break if auto

I didn’t know the SatNav needed a key….. 😀
