Where did you get that info?

It's in the first post in this thread, differences in 22MY cars.

Bear in mind the information in the first post relates to the UK market - other European markets may differ.

Where is the source for the info in the first post? I can't find anything online except this forum, which seems odd? Thanks.

Devon Aygo, who started this topic, works for a UK Toyota dealer, and the information in his first post relates to UK specification vehicles.

As, according to your profile, you are outside the UK (Slovenia?) you need to check with your Toyota importer as specifications, etc vary from country to country.

So is there a chance that Toyota will offer dashboard upgrades to the older models like they did with previously?

No - the upgrades were only for the early Corolla and Rav4 which originally came without Apple Carplay and Android Auto, and these were at some cost to owners (cheaper if done with a service).

My Cross, must've ordered for June/July it said to be MY21.

The Yaris Cross pricelist is still my21. As it only came out at the end of 2021 it is not up for amendment yet.

Hi all,

apologies if I’ve missed something. Been offered to get into a new Yaris for about £50 cheaper than currently financed for. Just wondered if there will be any difference between my Yaris Icon and one in order for June / July?

thanks in advance.

Have a look at the first post of this topic.

Is this just for the dynamic. I'm looking at the icon. Apologies if I'm being a total muppet

So if I read correctly, it would only be the material on the doors that has changed and relevant to my icon purchase (not adding any options)

Anyone knows when the MY22 Yaris start to be build, if it already started, so people with old order for My21 will know if they will receive the new My22

I see the price list has been updated for the MY22 Yaris which confirms the option of the parking pack on Design spec and the Touch 2 Navigation option on Icon/Design/GR Sport (standard on Excel) https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/liveassets.toyotaretail.co.uk/price-list/010510_VPL_CVPL_MAR_66_PAGES.pdf#page=8

@Devon Aygo Do you have more info on MY22 Yaris Cross maybe? Here is Slovenia we already have MY22 pricelist and I see that now top line Adventure & Elegant options have air ionizer fitted (NANOE X). Do you maybe have some more detailed info about other changes? Thank you very much!

Your country's importer will be the ones that determine the specifications of the cars, what vary greatly country to country - this topic is about the Standard UK spec Yaris not the cross

It's not about the specifications, but about changes and new features. Air ionizer was not available for any market for MY21, it's a new feature.

Changes and features may vary from country to country. Need to confirm with your importer.

As above, it's a change to the specification or trim level, Ionizers have been a very common option on JDM cars for the last 20 years

Even if you call it a 'feature' it still has to be specified at some point

Specification

noun
noun: specification; plural noun: specifications

1. an act of identifying something precisely or of stating a precise requirement.

2. a detailed description of the design and materials used to make something.

Only way to check for changes is to look at the price lists for 2021 and 2022 and compare

As noted previously I can only comment on UK changes we have had no new news of a model change yet only alterations to model availability such as:

  • Urban blue discontinued on all trims
  • Galactic blue discontinued on Excel trim
  • Premiere edition discontinued
  • Discontinuation of certain Dynamic specs, FWD/AWD City pack, FWD/AWD City pack JBL, FWD/AWD City pack Pano roof, FWD/AWDCity pack Pano JBL,

I suspect we will here about model changes soon as the latest supply bulletin states we have no unallocated UK stock and 5302 non covered UK orders for Yaris Cross.

Hello guys,

I am from Greece. Recently on 09/12/2022 I ordered a Toyota Yaris style 1.5 125hp.

I just observed on purchase order the description says Yaris 1.5p 125 6MT MY “21.

what this means ? That I am gonna receive an old “configuration” or something like this? Toyota informed me that I am gonna receive the car on May of 2023. So the car theoretically is not builded yet. So I am wondering what is going on ! Can you please help ?

thank you
