Aygo Bluetooth query

I am having a problem with my car Battery and I have tried to eliminate possible reasons for it draining within a short period parked in my garage.

When I switched off the engine and pulled out the key I noticed that the bluetooth, which I do not use, above my windscreen was still light up and wondered if this was correct?

If not then how can I disconnect or correct this as it maybe the reason for my car Battery draining so quickly when my car is parked in the garage for 3 - 4 days without being used.

Thanks!

The bluetooth doesn't go off straight away. It sort of fades.

Have you got anything plugged in the OBD2 port?

I did have something plugged into the Obd2 port but I pulled it out about a month ago. The bluetooth lights are on and they don't go off and I cannot seem to reset it whatsoever I try.

The Battery is about 3 years old and the garage wrote on it that it should be replaced in 2027.

Is it a factory fitted Bluetooth or an aftermarket one?

It must have been a factory fitted one as it was there when I bought the car which was a year old at the time.

TBH that's no guarantee that a previous owner hadn't fitted something.

Be helpful if you could post a photo of the light above the windscreen.

Here are 2 photos of the bluetooth device above my windscreen.

I have tried different combinations to get it to work and the lights shown are on all the time even when the car is locked up.

That looks like this Toyota bluetooth accessory with music streaming

I've tried to find a manual online for it but without success.

Unless anyone here can find any information it sounds like a visit to a car electrical specialist or a Toyota dealer to find out why it doesn't appear to be turning off?

Yes it does look like the one in your picture. The manual I got with the car for the bluetooth device does not look like this so using the information on setting it up it does not work. It did work years ago but I have not used it for years. Assuming my car Battery is not faulty then its the only thing I can find that may be running my Battery down as the lights are on all the time!
