Hi  I am Colin and along with my wife we are now the proud owners of our 5th Yaris, this time a hybrid car, the all new Yaris cross.

All the others were manual gearbox models, this is the first car we have had without a handbrake lever 🤩, so it’s been fun getting accustomed to that as well as having automatic transmission.

Our 3 grown up daughters all have Toyota Cars, 2 Yaris and 1 Auris and apart from a couple of punctures my wife has had, we have never had one break down, very reliable and good on running costs.

thanks for allowing us to join

Colin

Thats very true Bernard, the Daimler returns a good 10 MPG, but I can take  70 passengers with me 🙂

Awesome.

Years ago I had a 1964 Vas1 Bedford Bella Vista. Three quarter coach. Had the old Bedford 330 with a 4 speed crash box.

Wonderful thing to drive.

I was wondering about that, are you sure ? I suppose so, if 70 cars did the same distance.

The ones I worked on had the open platform at the back. Of course it’s so long ago, I imagine they were built to specification for local bus companies.
