Yaris Cross Excel - Space Saver Spare Wheel Size?

I would like to carry a space saver spare wheel instead of the tyre repair kit that comes as standard - Will a CH-R space saver wheel fit?

As there are more of these available to buy.

The CH-R alloy wheel looks the same size as the cross so am I right that I can use one of these as a get me home spare wheel?

thanks

Hi, yes from ch-r spare wheel will fit your model. Here seems like they have same main parameters.

After a quick search, this looked like the only thread asking about the Yaris Cross spare wheel. So for @daimler.driver's benefit, looks like you can order one for the Cross if this recent post by Toyota UK is accurate

I'm surprised the spare wheel won't fit in AWD models. The foam thing under the boot floor is quite deep and just seems to pointlessly fill space.

I had the same thought. I suggest you undo the foam thing fixing and lift the foam thing. The foam thing is covering what I assume is the rear motor HT 3 phase drive, as I found out a few days ago. Not a great photo below, but you get the idea. I don't thing a spare will fit nicely with that lump there.

Ah, that explains it. They could have designed a more bespoke and useful storage solution though. The foam thing is very space inefficient and just looks like something they found in the parts bin.
