Wiring harness / adapter for Toyota Yaris 2017

Hello, I'm trying to install a Sony XAVAX1000 in a Toyota Yaris Active 2017 - that link is to the French model which I have, I think it's the same as this one in English. I'm having trouble finding the right wiring harness, mostly because of two grey wires that don't seem to be accounted for by the harnesses I can find.

I'm attaching an image showing the Yaris connectors I have and the Sony connectors that I need to buy an adapter for. I can find some Toyota adapters but so far all of them leave out the two grey wires that I've drawn a red arrow to. There isn't any text on those grey cables, so I don't really know what they're for. If I had to guess, I'd say the grey wires are some sort of power source because one is striped with red and the other blue - don't know what they're supplying power to though.

Does anyone know of a wiring harness for the Yaris 2017 or know what those grey wires are for?

Below is an example of the wiring harnesses I've been able to find. This one says it's only compatible up to 2015 and like all the others I'm finding, it looks ok except for those two grey wires.

Thanks for any help!

Do you have steering wheel controls ? If so

Connects2 CTSTY008.2 - this includes the aux and Usb adapter, Aerial adapter, and reverse camera adapter

I take it you have got a fascia to fit the radio ?

Thanks, that's interesting, I didn't know that keeping steering controls was an option. Though, I was just reading about the product on their website and it says that it only supports from 1999 to 2005 Yaris models. I see you have a Toyota 2016 though, did you manage to install it in that?

I think I can see in the images that where my grey cables are, there might not be a metal connector in there meeting them (for the 6P connector). In this image I attached that's the one on the right. I'm not sure if that one is for my exact case though because there's nothing in connector 14 on the diagram whereas in my car there's one of those grey wires.

Yes I bought a face plate to put around the new radio. I'm still cutting into it to make it the right shape for the radio face though, because it was a bit too small.

A proper surround does not need any cutting

Do not cut any wires, the Sony uses standard ISO the one with 8 pins is for Speakers, the Plugs in the car are standard Toyota 6 pins for the Speakers on the 6 pin and the other 2  are on the 10 pin

the Adapters fit many cars

What I quoted above is correct for your Yaris and gives the best value - connects2 do not list every car and every year, the factory radio uses a 10 + 6 for power and Speakers and a 28 pin for Audio controls

Fascia - CT23TY91 this clips into the standard frame eg. 55405-0D620

I have fitted plenty of radios over the last 20+ years

Great response, thank you! That makes sense. I'm going to search for a shop here that sells them.
