Your Handbook will tell you where it is and how to change it Tristan.

This shows the cabin filter on a LHD car, but it's in the same location on RHD (passenger side footwell)

It's in an odd place, a dealer will charge £30 + filter for that little job

Having just bought and collected my iQ from a small independent dealer.

Before selling me the car they did a 'full' service.

So, having read this thread I decided to check out the pollen filter..

If it makes you feel any better, my first Mk1 Yaris D4D was a Used Approved one bought from a Toyota Dealer, so you'd think they would have looked at things like the pollen filter right?

When I took it out it was full of dead wasps!

It's an optional service item, if a dealer can save a few quid they will

And no-one bothers to check to see if it's been done.

Most important filter in any car that protects you and your passengers but also most neglected one too, these are cheap and easy to replace, best to do at least once a year or with every service. Even when the old filter look relatively clean if the paper has changed it’s colour to dark you can smell it and if it’s smell like petrol fumes then replace with new, these filters trap harmful emissions too not only bugs 🐜  and leaf’s 🍃 👌👍

Update: Having bought a new pollen filter I got the chance today to fit it...

It's hard to tell but, in case you're wondering, the new one is to the right of the photo😉
