Scuff Plates

I fitted scuff plates today, must admit I'm really pleased with how they look! It was more of an aesthetic thing from my angle, rather than protection, they just help to break up what was a big expanse of red.

Looking good, got them fitted to both our citybugs, not everyones taste, but I like them and as you say breaks up the sea of paint.

Lots of chatter about missing scuff plates on Yaris Cross.  To be honest my problem with a Corolla is the plastic trim above that and the door trim.  Getting in and out in a garage or narrow car park and I scuff both.

You should be better with the Yaris Cross. I'm better with my Yaris than I was with the 208 Previously had. However I still occasionally wipe my feet on the doors 😉.

That looks good and as you say does break up the large area of paint.  The Aygo I purchased had them already so it was not something I needed to do but if they had not been there it would have been one of my first jobs.

Here is the scuff plate that was fitted to the Aygo when I purchased it and I have to admit I rather like it.

Same here, I like the flash of red on them.

I guess they were part of the Trend package but they were not listed in the description.
