2004 Verso odometer blank

Hi all,

My first post. The odometer/mileage display in my 2004 Corolla Verso is blank when the engine is running.

Is this a fault, or a button or something I have pressed somewhere? If a fault, how would I go about repairing it?

Check to see if you have the display dimmed down there will be a rotary knob somewhere that might have been turned down (does the rest of display light up) it may also be a blown bulb or a loose wire try wiggling the wires up behind the dash or tapping the display with your hand.

if there is a fault with the instrument binnacle these can be repaired by a company called bba reman.

The main display is bright when the lights are off and very dim when on. The total mileage display doesn't show at all.
