Registering media device but no device serial no

Having issues registering my media unit.  My settings/general/system info does not give me a serial number just a software ver. HE3953 and Model Id of 13TXDAEU-CA04.  Some serious internet searching has not helped.  

Any ideas?

You can only register if you have factory navigation installed.

Thanks Devon Aygo.  Toyota finally got back to me today with an email saying the same.  But when asked if I can upgrade haven't as yet got an answer

I'm too having the same issue with my wife 22 plate yaris dynamic model.

Can't connect to to he app neither.

Same answer as above, there is no factory navigation module in a new Yaris and therefore no connection to the MyT account. Navigation is available via Apple car play or Android auto just connect your smart phone to the cars USB

To add navigation your 2019 Yaris you will need THIS note this will add navigation but your system cannot have Apple car play or Android auto.

You will need West Low version and don't need the brackets.

Contrary to what @Devon Aygo said, if yours is a Mk4 Yaris, then the reason you can't connect to the MyT app is because your dealer has not properly registered your vehicle online before he sold it to you... (2020-> Yarises connect using the module in the interior light cluster - and, you have to have already created an account on the My Toyota site first also)

Perhaps not "Contrary" but in addition too? The thread is about registering Multimedia on the MyT app something that cannot be done without an additional Navigation module being installed which is available for last Gen Yaris but not Current Gen Yaris.

Absolutely! Point taken 🙂(but you do still get a connection on your phone to the MyT app even without the nav module; you just can't register the multimedia unit)
