New Japanese Import Headunit Issue

Hi,

I have just purchased a Toyota Corolla Fielder 2017 Hybrid and there is also some sort of security password on the headunit (NSCD-W66), which I dont know. I've searched the internet up and down to try and figure out how to unlock it, but i've had no luck.

Do I have to go to Toyota about this? I would like to avoid that if possible.

Also, is there any way to update the software on the headunit to get more english on it.... it's barely got english, even with the language set to english. Also is there any way to update the maps to my local area? Instead of just Japan haha. It has a navigation SD card in it.

UPDATE: I managed to remove the password on it, cost me $6, but still. Would still like to know if I can update the software/firmware on it to make it more english friendly?
