DashCam parking mode

Hi all,

2 weeks with the car and enjoying it a lot.

It came with a Nextbase 380 Dashcam, it had no Battery on handover so I bought one to allow the use of parking mode.

However, the camera keeps restarting and shutting down every 5 min with the car standing still. (The G-sensor is at middle sensitivity).   Even when taking the camera off and leaving it quiet in a desk, it does the same until the Battery runs out.  Can't find anything related on the settings. It says it only should come off standby when detects motion.

Does anyone know what I am missing?

I would go back to the dealer and let them sort it

I have the same situation with the Nextbase 380GWX ( fitted by a Toyota Dealer to my RAV4) and I thought it was going into a 'standby mode'. It obviously needs looking into, thankyou for bringing this up.
