A little bit off topic , but I'm  driving to Croatia in Sept and the covid rules seem quite complex from country to country .

Has anyone done this trip recently , I'm stopping in dunkirk one night and Stuttgart for one night

Not driven or even been over the water post covid , so no help on that I'm afraid.

But what I can tell you about Dunkirk is if you are intending to stay in a formula 1 or Campanile type motel to book well in advance, they used to be fine on a just turn up basis, but last time I went they were all chock a block with vans and drivers from all over Europe.

Also auto check in and pay with a card on the door ,no staff on duty after 1800 hrs.

If it's still the same the flunch restaurants in the auchan supermarkets do a good lunch or dinner at a very reasonable price , open until 2000 hrs I think or maybe later now.

Have a good trip 😁
