Can I use a CCS tethered charger?

This will be my first plug in (arriving July 18). Im confused with connector types for charging on the move - Can I use a CCS tethered connection?

Afraid not. Theoretically you could but there is no space below the socket on the car for the additional bit on the CCS plug. The standard is designed to work the other way round with a CCS socket which can accommodate a CCS plug or a Type 2 plug but the PHEV is just a Type 2 socket.

If it's important, you may be able to get an adaptor or fly lead but best to make sure it's a decent one.
