iv'e just taken delivery of the GR sport corolla. In reading the handbook, there's a reference to opening the boot with your foot. Does anyone know if this relates to the GR sport model and if so I cant activate it

thanks

Pretty sure that's only a thing on Excel and trek trims (UK anyway)

This function is only available on the touring sport, and then only the Excel and Trek times as Kyle has said above.

Yes, only 2.0 hybrids has insulated bonnet, and perhaps 1.8 excel. Toyota is cheaping on that 😉

To be fair the 2.0 needs it with its noisy fuel injection system.

Only the direct injection system high pressure fuel pump is noisy & it doesn't run using direct injection all the time.

I am considering looking up the part number and fitting one when my 1.8 Design arrives.
