2.5l is tiny.  My Ford Anglia held almost a pint😁

My SAAB 99 held 10l.  No rear washer but it had headlight washers too.  I also fitted a washer heater too.

Don't bother trying to check how much is in there, on both cars I just top ours up so the screenwash comes to the top of the filler neck.

Thanks Mike- did exactly what you said.

Check it out Roy, 2.5 litres is equal to 4+ imperial pints.

Oops Amazon tricked me, I use also concentrate and dilute as necessarily  for summer or winter use. Just this brand is good I meant to say. Also another that are good here : Autoglym Ultimate Screenwash, 500ml https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0011DY91G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_V1E9CYSJPJTJCA3VWSE2

Holts HSCW0003A One Shot Screen Wash 125ml Concentrate Anti Glare Makes Up To 5L https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07R74PZFH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_WYH9884FKPGEZ09ZBHKA

Prestone PSCW0039A Screen Wash for Cars, Concentrate makes up to 50 Litres of Screenwash, protects to -18C, 2.5 Litre, Yellow https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09TW9FWYV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_YGQWAWV7D1QC13GN01WJ

The Prestone wash which is meant for up to -10C, do you know how much it has to be diluted for summer?

Thanks Mike- the standard winter one is up to -10C whereas the extreme is up to -20C. So based on this, I take that 1 part of screenwash to 9 parts of water should be okay?

Hi,

I actually bought exactly this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07N1Y2YGY?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_Q7S3G0WC2KX65ZGFJ5D4

it’s extreme up to minus 18 and I do 125ml concentrate into 4.5ltr of water. Winter when very cold 250ml concentrate for 4.5ltr. Works well. 👍

Running out is one thing but several years ago whilst driving through Shropshire on a cold winter's morning I discovered mine had frozen. Unfortunately I discovered it because the wipers smeared the windscreen and I could barely see to drive. Then I had to work out where to stop and how to clean it. That was a hellishly cold morning - I think it was the first time I'd ever seen a digital thermometer reading in the negative double digits.

I think maybe it was -12 or -14. Totally uncivilised!
