Rav 4 Injector programming issue.

Hi,

I am currently driving a Toyota Rav 4 2012 Diesel and having some issues. The car is in a a garage getting repaired after a "Check engine system" waring came on which turned out to be a "Faulty injector Circuit" fault, this coincided with a juddering which felt like misfire. 

The Garage have installed a new injector as apparently one was bad (which would explain the juddering) but are having extreme difficulty programming the injector. Apparently they can get half way through the programming process and then the car cancels the programming and after 1.5 weeks they are still unable to programme the injector to the cars computer. 

Any information or potential solutions to this problem would be EXTREMELY appreciated.
