2014 aygo serpentne belt change

Hi how do you loosen the tension on the serpentine belt to change it?. thanks.

I think it's a case of slackening the alternator bolts, it is on our 2013 mk 1 as far as I know.

Hi my Aygo is a new shape mk2 model so is different to the mk1. thanks

What engine do you have, is it the 1.0 petrol?

It's still the 1KR but uses a tensioner (optional to use the pin/Hex key)

it's called a spanner 😉, no need to lock the tensioner, if you must use an Allen key

 

Edit. This is for the Mk2 14-22 Mk1 up to 2018 you just tension the belt by moving the alternator
