Where is the "mute" button my Touch and Go?

Darned if I can find it. No mention in the driver's handbook and I suspect the online manual will only address the latest version of the car.

I've no 5 year-old kids to ask so please help an old-timer!

Thanks.

The online manuals are good and will certainly be available for a 2018 model.

Have you tried holding in the 'mode' button on the steering wheel control for several seconds, that mutes and unmutes on mine.

It's ridiculous this is a problem... what was wrong with having a volume dial that you could push in to turn off the audio system??

I’d be very surprised if there isn’t a mute button amongst the steering wheel controls !
That’s the logical place for it.

ETA

I think it normally has a ‘loudspeaker’ symbol.

Mode button on steering wheel - hold it for 3 seconds. Press again to unmute.

I push the volume button (the one on the left) and audio is off. I'm not sure I fully understand the problem?

You can get manuals for most Toyotas online :

Search Toyota manuals

Be sure to look for "Toyota C-HR" as the model, because "C-HR" is not where you might think it should be in the alphabetical list.
