Changing ac panel light bulbs

Hi,

All of my Toyota Avensis 1999 T22 ac dashboard lights are burned out. I would like to change them but can't seem to find out how to do it... I found one YouTube video with pretty similar ac controller unit

I Asumme that on the Avensis it should be on the same way. So remove the plastic covers and then the screws holding the element. I can get the temperature plastic cover of but the fan speed and air flow direction buttons won't come of?

Am I doing something incorrect or are those plastic knobs just really tight? Any suggestions to get them of?

When I had my 1998 T22 GLS, I replaced some of the bulbs in the dashboard and heater control area. I posted my reply -
