Definitely Michael, I would imagine around 1000kgs, but you would need to check your manual for exact towing capacity.

Just googled it Michael and coming up with 750kgs, so would need to be a small caravan if that's correct, but check your manual 👍

I believe that the German company Eriba do some very good lightweight caravans.

Not had one myself, but when I had the old Talbot auto sleeper, I met a few Eriba owners on cc sites, and the vans were beautifully made and finished.

They reckoned that they towed really easily too.

I am worried about the oil overheating maybe need a extra oil cooler for towing.

I wouldn't imagine so Derek if careful not to stress the engine, and it would be a light caravan.

I suppose the Toyota dealer could confirm.

All Corolla hybrids have a tow weight of 750kg braked, 450 kg unbraked so yes lightweight caravans only.

When we got our Camplet trailer tent we looked at a Pennine Countryman folding camper which was the biggest caravan we could find within the weight limit.
