New Member Seeking Guidance

Hello I'm new here and seeking some knowledge and advice.

After several years of normal use the satnav in my Auris has stopped working. Now when I press the navigation button I get the message "Navigation unavailable on your system". I guess it's a software issue. Is there someway to reset the whole unit?

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Many thanks Tony

Tony Bedwyn, Welcome.

Is it the type that works via the phone app or is it Toyota own softwear and works without a phone.

Thanks for your message, sorry for slow reply, haven't got the hang of this forum yet.

No it's not connected via a phone app. It's the built in Toyota system.

If it's a phone app try clearing the app cache.

It's not a phone app. It's the in car dashboard system.

It will be the Touch 2 with Go system which has a sat nav module that plugs into the head unit.

Not app based.

Have you updated the maps recently??
