Connecting An Amp To My Head Unit?

Hi, I have a headunit which has 1x pre out. (one red and one white rca connectors). This is currently connected to an amp which is powering a sub.

I want to get a 4 channel amp to power 4 Speakers. For this I require 2x pre outs, which my head unit does not have. Is it possible to get some sort of connector which converts the ISO connection at the back of the headunit to rca connectors?

thanks!

You can buy adapters to convert a single RCA socket to a double one, although if you split your output between two amps your signal level will drop slightly. If your not fussed about that they I can't see any problems!

Don't forget, if you do this, you can't fade from front to back, only left to right, unless the H/U can do this, but wouldn't though so

From what it says, think it would work

What H/U have you got anyway?

I think i see, it has 4 channel output, convert these into phono, keep the original one for the sub, instant basic system setup.

That way, you can control the 4 speaker outputs to each corner of the car, and have a sub as well for the bass outputs.
