Hi, I've been looking a hi ace for a while.. a 2.7 petrol powers has popped up.

All looks good, only 99k on the clock. My only concern is the mpg with being a 2.7l petrol.

Has anyone got one of these or had any experience with one? roughly what kind of mpg were you getting? I'm guessing it won't be a lot 😂

Thanks

well your tax is £300 a year, and it won't be ulez compliant (a lot of larger cities are looking to go with ulez)

imo low 20's MPG on a run, in the mid-teen's town/urban

I gave it a miss.  Just too expensive to run. I'm going to wait for a diesel that's actually a reasonable price 😂

The diesels aren't much better maybe 20% higher MPG, but diesel is more expensive - emissions for mots are getting tighter, anything 2016 or older (euro 6) is not ulez compliant, yes they have the torque down low but are out of puff at 3200 rpm
