Hi all, would someone be able to upload a simple picture with circles around the positive and earth rods for the Battery? Also what sort of Battery is it - I presume not an AGM like my BMW was - my Battery was replaced this month so I may have to open the bonnet and inform you what the make is to confirm what sort of battery it is....

Its the black bit / earth I'm not convinced by.

On my BMW you connected it to a protruding piece of metal designed for the charge.

Just greater design detail, as long as you remember the black to earth.

Using an earth point well away from the Battery is probably an anti-spark precaution.

There is no similar protrusion that I've ever seen on Toyotas.

The bolt head on top of the suspension strut (arrowed in blue) is the popular point used for an earth connection on many other Toyotas.  I'd use that.  And your NOCO charger (linked to) is rated at 1 Amp, so there is no likelihood of your connection being overloaded!
