Aygo - Fitting new style mirrors (AB40) to an old AB10 chassis

Hi everyone.

Do you know if you could theoretically fit mirrors of the new AB40 chassis to an AB10 chassis? 

I would love to have indicators and heaters integrated in the mirrors of my 2007 Aygo.

IIRC they are nearly identical, heated and electrical yes, but I don't think the aygo had repeaters in the mirrors

The second generation Aygo doesn't have repeaters in the mirrors -

Well... thats a bit of a downer... I just assumed it would have them as so many newer cars have repeaters there... But they should still fit, right? because my main issue is not having heated mirrors right now...
