Phone connection problem

My wife's Aygo 2019 has developed a problem when the phone is connected you cannot access call history on screen when you touch the tab for it the screen remains blank. Toyota first said its a phone fault, but we have recently renewed my wife's phone and the fault remains anyone any ideas how to solve this. Both phones were Apple devices I phone 11 replaced by I phone 14 plus.

On the phone go to "settings" > "bluetooth" find your cars pairing and select the blue circled i here make sure all the tabs are on or ticked.

Thank you so much after spending ages looking at the car system it was in fact as you say in the phones bluetooth settings. The reason of course that the new phone was behaving like the last one is that it copies ALL the settings and apps over. Thank you again for solving this issue.
