Dome light door switch

Hi all,

I'm Mike From Netherlands and driving a 2006 verso Lhd

Now today I replaced the light in the interior in the middle
And I probably short circuited.

Fuse replaced and the light did it again, only now I notice that when it is open on the doors stand, the lighting no longer turns on
Does anyone know if there are any other fuses or relays related to this?

Thanks in advance

i take it, it blew the dome fuse, you may have also blown on of the ECU-b fuses or the Tail fuse

Make sure the light is seated correctly in its holder check fuses again.

Its possible its damaged the door switch try the other door.

The door switch of all doors does work. Because the light in the dashboard just turns on and off during presses. Don't know if that makes a difference to the lighting

All fuses double checked

Could it possibly be the switch itself that broke?

The lightThe light does turn on with the position on. But as soon as I switch it to the door position, it doesn't work anymore. Both the back and the front

sorry, only just seen this

Having a look at the diagrams

all the door switches go back to the ECU-B aka BCM, lights on manual are fed from the Dome fuse, the courtesy lights are controlled by the ECU-B

check fuses - ECU-B No. 2 7.5a, Panel 7.5a, Door 25a, Gauge No.1 10a

HaveAfter research, I found out that this module ensures the dimming of the interior lighting

And it could have burned out.

Is this correct?

The B-ECU controls the interior lighting what is part of the internal fuse box what lives behind the beige cover

https://fuseandrelay.com/toyota/corolla-verso-ar10.html

the blue box is the Integration relay (that part is for a corolla not a corolla Verso)

There are a few types of internal fuse boxes depending on the year and engine type

With integration relay

Fuse box from a Toyota Corolla Verso (E12) 1.6 16V VVT-i 2003

Without integration relay

photo fuse box avensis 2

what does the fuse box look like in your car ?

Can you pm me a vin number so i can work out what you have

That is the one without the integration module the courtesy lighting is controlled by the b-ecu and any relays are internal you can remove the B-ECU board from the back of the fuse box and inspect it, have you physically removed the fuses i listed above and checked them ?

Worst ways, swap the fuse box with the same part number as the one in the car

B-ecu No. 2 and dome fuses are located in the additional fuse box - If you have not checked this, you didn't find the dome fuse

it's located beside/behind the internal fuse box

It looks like this

Not sure on the exact location on the LHD, but it's in that area, I don't think it's as low as the driver's side, kick panel

the diagrams are a bit vague
