Any water in the oil or oil in the water ?, start off with checking the water pump by taking the fan/aux belt off and feel the water pump for shaft play or bearing issues, maybe a hydrocarbon test to rule out a head gasket issue,

is that the 7M-GTE turbo ??

Yes, is Turbo 7M- GTE

I used this car year, more thousand  miles done, never problems. The seller said can be gasket problem  but I never put any water or oil, always checking  level, was good and oil clean. I pick my Supra from mechanic, was done service, oil, filters, cambelt , sparks  plugs  , first 3 miles after pick the car water from equalizing tank come out ..

Problem is, I do not know good mechanic  here, what you can trust  and he know what he do it..

Did they change the coolant ? If so, it may need burping to get the air out of the system - heater all the way to hot fan on full and run the car up to temp with the cap off

Does the radiator get hot, if not check the thermostat

iirc it runs a Viscous fan clutch, these can be prone to failure simply by taking it off the car

where are you in London

It must be air locked, or the radiator has a blockage if it only has done it after being worked on - no supra, it's just basic engine mechanics

Ask around and find a good, local mechanic/garage that can help you. This is all standard stuff and you shouldn't need a Supra specialist.

If you changed the coolant yourself then remove filler cap start engine let it heat up keeping a eye out for air bubbles make sure heater control is on high set fan at low speed.

Press the lower radiator tube to help expell air locks and keep repeating it its a good idea to have a friend watching for air bubbles.

It may take 10 minuits after it heats up or 2 hours

Keep engine speed at tickover or just above but max 2000 rpm
