2017 Verso Seat Query

I have just purchased a 2017 Verso. Could some please tell me what the two small black rectangular boxes are  on the back of the front seats? They have a small slot at the top and a button at the bottom.

Any help gratefully received.

I don't have one of these cars but, are these not so-called 'curry hooks'?

Do they 'pop' out to carry the handles of a bag of takeaway food (to stop it falling over and ruining your evening/car trim).

Just a wild guess.
